CHM Industries is a manufacturer of custom tubular steel structures. With many years of experiences building lighting and traffic structures, we now offer solutions for the wind turbine industry.

Design

CHM offers expertise developed in the lighting and traffic industries to the ever expanding wind energy market. We take our ethical responsibility to design a structurally sufficient pole very seriously, working with our customers to ensure our units fully meet their design requirements. CHM offers a wide array of structures designed for use with the Skystream 3.7 and is developing structures for many other manufacturers. CHM is not a one size fits all company and as such we can custom develop a solution for different manufacturers, locations, or requirements. PE sealed calculations, drawings, and foundation design are available from CHM.

Fabrication

All welding and inspection of our towers is conducted at our facility in Saginaw Texas and coated to your specification locally. We offer a standard galvanized finish and also offer a wide array of painting and powder coating options.

Capabilities

While many wind structures are of a relatively small scale, we offer more substantial designs in line with our capabilities for the lighting and traffic industries. CHM has the capabilities of building structures with diameters of up to 50 inches and wall thicknesses in excess of ½”. Most structures have a sectional length of no more than 52’ in order to facilitate shipment by standard flat bed truck. CHM has successfully built tubular monopoles up to a 200’ assembled mounting height.
